Regret is more traumatizing than fear. 20 years down the line you would regret more for things you didn’t do than you did. If you do not do anything, nothing will happen anyway. So just do it :-0). Take control, things just don’t happen by themselves. And yes, if you want to be happy – prove it.

By the way I am not regretting anything :-D.

What say?

hone hone de nasha khone khone ko hai kya
hone hone de nasha khone khone ko hai kya
ek saans mein pee ja zara zindagi chadha
hai yeh toh ek jashan tu thirakne de kadam
abhi saanson mein hai dam abhi chalne de sitam

Be considerate yaar!

Okay! I am. But where shall one draw the line. You ordered for cola and this guy gets you lime. Would you adjust? You ordered for cold coffee and this guy offers you hot. Would you adjust? And why should you? Late by just 16 mins and I called off the meeting. Was I being unprofessional and inflexible? Mebbe. But that’s the way I am. You better be punctual (or atleast apologitic) and gimme what I have ordered.

Shit happens!

And will happen again. The sooner you come out of it, the better. Shrug it off and move ahead. And that’s how you make yourself different from herd. Everybody make mistake. Introspect and analyse, if you have to. But don’t brood. No whys. It is meant to be that way. Accept, learn and let go.

Better to burn out than to fade away!

.. has a purpose. It shows us that life no matter how wretched is to be celebrated and lived to its very end...Small aim is crime. .. And they say I have to prove myself to them at every step. Nope. I don’t have to prove anything to anybody but to myself. Maybe that proverbial extra mile will make the difference. Screw It, Let's Do It. Life continues by trial and error.

At the end of the day this is happiness that matters, we always tend to do what makes us happy, and if making or breaking a relationship is what leads to it, so be it. Or be most comfortable with it. Most importantly be true to yourself. Don’t let anybody press you into taking some uncomfortable decision. And don’t be the person you are not cut out to be. Stay clear of self doubt.May be you are expecting me to be the perfect person I am not.

No One!

To share smiles and tears with
and always give a shoulder to
To dream about the future with
and recount the nightmares of the past too

Its My Life and I am Damn Serious About It!

I swear - by my life and my love for it - that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Who is John Galt, anyway!

Mohe Rang De Basanti!

sapnen rang de, apne rang de
khushiyaan rang de, gam bhi rang de
naslen rang de, faslein rang de
rang de dhadkan, rang de sargam
aur mohe tuu rang de basanti yaara
mohe tuu rang de basanti

dheemi aanch pe tuu zara ishq chadha
thode jharne laa, thodi nadi mila
thode saagar aa, thodi gaagar laa
thoda chhidak chhidak, thoda hila hila
phir ek rang tu khila khila

You think you know who you are. You have no idea !

Go watch!

Be Open,Accept !

If I do not want what you want, please try not to tell me that my want is wrong.Or if I believe other than you, at least pause before you correct my view.
Or if my emotion is less than yours, or more, given the same circumstances, try not to ask me to feel more strongly or weakly.Or yet if I act, or fail to act, in the manner of your design for action, let me be.

I do not, for the moment at least, ask you to understand me. That will come only when you are willing to give up changing me into a copy of you
. I may be your spouse, your parent, your offspring, your friend, or your colleague. If you will allow me any of my own wants, or emotions, or beliefs, or actions, then you open yourself, so that some day these ways of mine might not seem so wrong, and might finally appear to you as right -- for me. To put up with me is the first step to understanding me. Not that you embrace my ways as right for you, but that you are no longer irritated or disappointed with me for my seeming waywardness. And in understanding me you might come to prize my differences from you, and, far from seeking to change me, preserve and even nurture those differences.

What’s this pandemonium all about? Some body said Mandal II? Well we can expect that if things moves ahead uncontrolled, and I afraid that is imminent. Before dwelling further on the issue let’s hear there point of view: “to ensure the upliftment of the socially and economically backward classes. It’s about empowering (Much abused word. More on this later.) the oppressed class.” Sounds good. Isn’t it? Very good intention indeed. A good vision (Another good vision is to provide employment for 100 days each year. But implementation wise? Again more on this later). But only good vision does not guarantee you the desired outcome. You start with a vision, then you strategize that, then planning comes and then the most important execution and control. There are few policies of government which starts with a good vision (in this case, to empower all), but strategy wise turns out to be a populist measure to garner votes.

Let’s keep aside the political mileage thingy out for some time and take a re-look at the issue. I want all my country men to be at equal footing. Give them level playing field. Fair enough. But then there is also survival of the fittest.

Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up and knows that it will have to outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
And, every morning in Africa a lion wakes up and knows that it will have to outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
So, in Africa, it doesn't matter if you are the lion or the gazelle. When that sun comes up, you had better be running.

Now what Mr. Arjun Singh and company is trying to do is to assure all those weak lion with a gazelle. If a lion is capable enough it will get its food. By providing it a gazelle you are not only messing up with the law of nature but also undermining the capabilities of the lion. Respected sir, your decision on quota will only take our country back in time. I have known quite a few guys who had sweated out like any thing to claim their worthiness for a seat in my college. And I am damn sure if this 22.5 % reservation was not there for educational institutes, many of us who finally landed to RECs would have been in the IITs. Only if the competition was not for 77.5% of seats. If you want to help them do that at elementary and primary level and please don’t make caste as basis for the same but economic abilities. Create more Navodaya Vidyalaya and other similar initiatives. Leave professional colleges for those who can prove there mantle for a prized place in those institutes. There are many guys out there from supposedly backward and oppressed classes who can make it on there own. Let merit be only criterion for any such coveted places. Competitive examination should be the same, competitive and not such a farce. Government has to make sure money should not be an issue with all such people at any level of their education. But not spoon feeding. We have enough of mediocrity, only with meritocracy we as country can grow. Country move ahead with progressive policies.Don’t divide the country between US vs THEM.
